A lush, trailing houseplant loved for its glossy green leaves and bright lipstick-red blooms. Aeschynanthus ‘Mona Lisa’ is one of the easiest and most reliable flowering varieties, producing vibrant tubes of colour that pop against its cascading foliage. Perfect for shelves, hanging planters, and anyone who wants a bit of drama without the fuss.

Plant Care

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for flowering. It can tolerate medium light but may bloom less.

Watering: Water when the top inch of soil is dry; this plant is sensitive to overwatering and letting it dry out completely. 

Temperature: Ideally, they want 18-24°C, especially if you want them to flower. Don't let it get below 10°C. Otherwise, you will see leaf drop and have one sad-looking plant. 

Potting: This plant is an Epiphyte (grows on other plants/trees/branches)in the wild, so a chunky mix is ideal. Our Airy Aroid mix will do the trick. 

Hot tips: If it stops flowering, move it somewhere brighter. Avoid cold drafts—this plant loves warmth and consistency. It will trail beautifully if given a hanging spot.

Sturdy paper bowls, economical quantity purchase

I previously bought 50 (?) of the paper plates to check the quality and see how well they hold up before making quantity purchases of other paper products.
