Cold Therapy

Hot Therapy

1) Place in freezer for a minimum of 2 hours.

2) Massage and wrap the gel compress to personal comfort level before applying to affected area.

Do not apply gel compress directly on skin. Wrap in a towel.

3) Apply compress no more than 20 minutes at a time. Monitor affected area during application to prevent frostbite. If too cold, wrap the gel compress with additional towel.

4) After use, wipe gel compress dry before storing in the freezer for future use.

Heating time may vary depending on microwave power.

1) Gel compress must be at room temperature before use.

Ensure microwave is clean before heating.

2) Fold gel compress in half making sure that the gel is evenly distributed.

3) Heat at highest power for 45 seconds.

4) Flip gel compress and heat for another 45 seconds.

5) Massage gel compress to evenly distribute the heat. Check to see if gel compress is at desired temperature.

6) If compress is too hot, allow to cool until desired temperature. If compress is not hot enough, microwave compress in 15 second increments until desired temperature.

7) Wrap gel compress in a towel and apply to affected area for no more than 20 minutes at a time.

8) After use, wipe gel compress and store in the room temperature for future use.
