Only the pH sensor and calibration liquid are included in the delivery! EHEIM pHcontrol+e – the intelligent controller designed to monitor and adjust the pH level in your aquarium. With the EHEIM pHcontrol+e, you can effortlessly keep track of and enhance the pH in your aquarium using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC through a WiFi connection and your web browser. A pH sensor detects the current pH level of the water, while the pHcontrol+e automatically manages the required CO2 supply. By regulating the magnetic valve linked to the CO2 system, it adds the necessary CO2 until the desired pH level is achieved. To utilize this feature, you will need to connect your CO2 system, such as a CO2 bottle via a pressure reducer, along with a magnetic valve (refer to the EHEIM CO2 sets) and a CO2 diffuser. The pHcontrol+e includes a day/night control and can be integrated with the EHEIM LEDcontrol+e lighting system (part of the EHEIM DIGITAL family). In addition to light, nitrogen, phosphate, trace elements, and more, aquarium plants primarily require CO2 as a crucial nutrient. The healthier they grow, the more oxygen they produce, which is necessary for the fish to breathe. Therefore, the EHEIM pHcontrol+e indirectly contributes to oxygen levels and ensures the optimal pH for your fish by adding CO2. This typically ranges between pH 6 and pH 8, with pH 7 being a neutral reference point. Note: The foundation for measuring and stabilizing the pH value is the carbonate hardness ("KH") of the water. Consequently, the EHEIM pHcontrol+e (in Smart mode) first checks the KH value, as KH, CO2, and pH levels influence one another. Features of the EHEIM pHcontrol+e:
