This is early old D getter type with PINCHED WAIST glass bulbs and it's much better sounding than later types, not even to mention Tungsram Siemens version. They come in original, but worn out boxes! Auction is for two pcs (platinum matched pair within 5%) of rare NOS NIB Philips E80CC / 6085. This is early old D getter type with PINCHED WAIST glass bulbs and it's much better sounding than later types, not even to mention Tungsram / Siemens version.

They come in original, but worn out boxes! Platinum matched pair from few dozen E80CC I have in stock!

They are made in Philips Heerlen tube plant in 1959 and DELTA logo is clearly visible on photos. They are exactly the same codes VB7 DELTA9I , as it is visible on photos. Also the more precise batch number 361 is engraved on both of valves.

 They are carefully tested and matched on calibrated Mutrix U61B tester  with 250V on plates and -6V on grids and results are:

Value for 100% NOS tube is 4.8mA at this voltages!

These tubes are extremely rare in NOS NIB condition and with balanced and matched sections, so this pair is the real gem! 

If you are looking at this listing, you surely know that this tube could be ultimate sub for ECC82 / E82CC / ECC802S / 12AU7 / 12AU7WA / 5963, as I personally checked in few amps and preamps, but please do not ask me about warranties how they will sound in your devices.
