All the tobacco leaves used in making My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo box-pressed cigars were specially cultivated on the Garcia family's private farms in San Jose, San Rafael, and Las Quebradas. The cigar features an uncommon Maduro wrapper Pelo de Oro from Nicaragua, and spicy Nicaragua long fillers and binders. Jaime Garcia, a legendary cigar roller, blended My Father's cigar as a show of love to honor and celebrate his father, Pepin Garcia. Pepin also decided to extend the act of love to his father and ended up blending a fantastic cigar. This blend is My Father Le Bijou 1922. Fortunately for Pepin, this cigar became so successful that it won the Cigar Aficionado #1 Cigar of the Year in 2015.Le Bijou is a French word for “my jewel,” while 1922 depicts the year of birth of his father. The signature blast of spices common in Pepin cigars is prominent and medium to full-bodied in strength. It is available in five regular vitolas; Torpedo ( 6 ⅛" x 52), Grand Robusto ( 5 ⅝" x 55), Churchill (7" x 50), Petit Robusto (4 ½" x 50), and Toro (6" x 52). Nice so far.

Comfy. They were tight the first day across the toes but as I've worn them a couple times they are loosening up. The sole is forming to my foot. These are very much like Doc Martin's from the early 2000s. Not sure about quality since I haven't had them for very long.
