Mournful Cries was Saint Vitus' second album with singer Scott 'Wino' Weinrich, and like Born Too Late it confirmed he was the ideal vocalist for the band. The gritty resignation and throaty, fevered force of his voice meshes perfectly with Dave Chandler's howl-in-a-void guitar work, and his lyrics lend the songs an unblinking street-level attitude that gives the tunes a wildly potent force, even on the token fantasy piece 'Dragon Time.' Weinrich's second guitar also gives Chandler more space to stretch out with his thick, buzzing chords, as Armando Acosta's carefully punctuated drumming hits like a fist in the gut and Mark Adams' bass gives the songs a simple but rock-solid foundation. This material is stronger ensemble work than anything Saint Vitus had accomplished to date, and when they rise up in full strength on 'The Creeps' and 'Shooting Gallery, ' they're a mighty and malevolent force to be reckoned with. Great ball!

Our puppy loves this ball. It has held up well so far, it’s about 2 weeks now of large breed pup play. It’s been outside for the last week, rain or shine, still in working order. Not as big as I thought it would be though. No squeak, bounces well. Thick rubber like material, that can be depressed when biting down.

Durable, even for a Great Dane!

I've bought many tennis ball sized ChuckIt balls in the past (for medium sized dogs we've owned), so when we knew we were going to be babysitting our daughter's Great Dane, I bought a bigger one for her. The 4" is perfect for her! She plays catch with it, but also likes to gnaw on it. It holds up great!

Another great product from Chuckit!

Exactly the high quality that I've come to expect from Chuckit! The plastic/rubber used in their products is extremely tough yet gives enough that it's hard to actually pierce the it and tear apart. We have had Chuckit! Sticks and Balls with launcher for years and love them all. This particular ball is pretty big so my 45 pound pit mix struggles to pick it up but that's part of the fun for him. My 85 pound pit mix can pick it up no problem. The only "complaint" is that the two of them have been having so much fun with their new ball, they have already knocked something over and broke it.

Perfect for my mid size pit bull

Updating my review, the ball only lasted 5 days. I left the 5 stars because we had enough fun those 5 days to be worth the small price. She has dog has a lot of jaw strength, so I’m not surprised
We have a mid size foster pit bull. This ball is her favorite toy. It’s durable and the perfect size for her to play ball safely.
