The unit is TIG welded and pressure tested at the factory. aFe simplifies the buying experience by not requiring a core charge nor a core exchange fee. New Construction: aFe EGR coolers are constructed from new stainless steel components. All connections are welded not brazed, for reliability. Direct-Flow Design: Thicker wall tubes resist clogging, resulting in extended life of the cooler. The heat exchanger tube wall thickness is more than twice as thick as the OE unit. Decent value on comfortable motorcycle boot

I would give 5 stars, except I don't ever give 5. But these are 4.87. My feet don't like hard soles, but these boots are pretty comfy.
I buy "dress" boots to ride a motorcycle, long story.
My favorite was discontinued, and I dislike designer anything.
But, these weren't toooo expensive, and turns out, they're comfortable enough, good-looking, and excellent for motorcycling.
