An exhaust for the hottest of VW’s hatchbacks - unmatched quality, fitment, performance and tone. For those who like it raw, rowdy, and light, the AWE Track Edition is for you. The Track Edition takes all of the precision engineering and performance of its SwitchPath™ counterpart, minus the valve on the passenger’s side and the muffler on the driver’s side. The result is a constant “valve open” mode. This version is known to get (really) rowdy, and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. But fear not – if after running the Track Edition you're feeling it’s a bit too much, AWE makes it easy to swap over to a Touring Edition with the Conversion Kit. Just bolt it on and tone it down a bit – easy! Valve Simulators (sold separately): Why do you need them? When it comes to the Track Edition versions of these systems, these valves are eliminated, the ECU stores what is known as a ‘soft code’ in the system. While this code is not harmful, who wants it? Enter the AWE Electronic Valve Simulators. These simple devices plug right into the factory harness in place of the exhaust valves, and prevent any code from ever being stored in the ECU due to the removal of the exhaust valves. Plug them in. Start it up. Drive away. That simple. Comes as a set of two.When it comes to tips, the Track Edition finishes off with 102mm slash-cut tips, featuring the AWE logo, so they know what team you're on. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste. Since receiving them, these king-size white goose down pillows have truly transformed my sleep. They are incredibly soft and fluffy to the touch, so plush it's hard to believe they hold their shape. Sleeping on them is like lying on a cloud.
The 100% cotton cover adds extra comfort: it feels cool to the touch, breathes well throughout the night, and helps me maintain a comfortable temperature while I sleep. Furthermore, the "reinforced fiber" structure is noticeable: after several weeks of use, the pillows retain their support; they don't clump or lose their shape, ensuring consistently good rest.
I find they have the ideal balance between firmness and softness: firm enough to support my neck and head, yet plush enough to adapt to my posture without creating pressure. This has improved my nights; I sleep more soundly and wake up with less stiffness in my neck.
