Heavy dead-lifts, overhead presses, snatches, and cleans (and many others) can be attempted with the confidence that you can bail out without major consequence or injury.

What's its best use?

These durable and versatile bumpers allow you to get all the training benefits of using great quality bumper plates, without the added expense of colour coded plates. An excellent choice for CrossFit boxes and gyms that need a lot of plates for met-con work without the need for all of them to be colour coded for easy weight recognition.

If you are tired of the clang of traditional plates, or the hard thud of Low bounce bumpers, then Industrial Athletic NITRO Bumper is for you. Considered by many as nearly indestructible, and built of recycled vulcanized rubber, incorporating a  50mm stainless steel insert. Do not expect the NITRO Bumper Plates to be aesthetically perfect on the surface, they are a plate made of true grit, and for the athlete that likes to train hard. Our NITRO Bumper series, also has a little more bounce than other plates, but that's not a bad thing either.

Industrial Athletic NITRO Bumper Plates are all a consistent 450mm Diameter, and are available in the following sizes, 5,10, 15, 20, 25 kg. All have a manufacturing tolerance of 5% of the claimed weight.

Warranty information: 

5kg variant plates are warrantied for 90 days. The 10-25kg variants are warrantied for 1 year.

5kg plates are designed as a supplementary plate only.

Important: All of our Bumper plates are coated with a silicon oil prior to packaging, to protect the plates in transit.  This can be simply removed with a rag, and surface cleaner.  We recommend a natural product such as "Simple Green", or simply use diluted laundry or dish-wash detergent.
