The Twin Disc HD Street Kit is engineered for high-performance applications, offering exceptional durability and torque capacity. Weighing 48.3 lbs., this kit is designed to handle demanding driving conditions, with a torque capacity of 891 ft/lbs., representing a 53% increase over stock capacity. Crafted with organic disc material and boasting a clutch disc diameter of 10.5 inches (267 millimeters), it ensures reliable performance under high stress.
The T1S-F08 street twin disc kit features twice the number of disc surfaces compared to single-disc setups, enhancing wear resistance, heat dissipation, and overall longevity. Utilizing a proprietary Positive Lift Floater System design, this kit operates quietly without any rattling, ensuring a smooth driving experience. Additionally, all diaphragms undergo an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process for enhanced durability.
Premium organic materials with high copper content ensure efficient heat transfer, while steel-backed linings provide superior burst strength and durability. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for added robustness, and rivet design and materials are carefully chosen for maximum strength.
The kit includes a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel for trouble-free installation and operation. Components such as the pressure plate, two discs, floater, flywheel, and alignment tool are included, with some kits optionally containing a pilot bearing and release bearing.
