Roxy Cheer Up Jacket

The Roxy Cheer Up Jacket in Black Combo is a women’s insulated snowboard/ski jacket that combines 10K waterproof protection, WarmFlight® Eco insulation, and a relaxed, ride-all-day fit for resort laps in any weather.

Why You’ll Love It

  • 10K storm protection: A 10,000 mm / 10,000 g waterproof-breathable shell with PFAS-free water-repellent finish and critically taped seams keeps you dry in storm cycles, wet chairlifts, and heavy, coastal snow.
  • WarmFlight® Eco insulation: Low-bulk WarmFlight® Eco synthetic insulation (around 80 g in the body, 60 g in the sleeves and hood) delivers dependable warmth without restricting movement or feeling overly puffy.
  • Relaxed, easygoing fit: A relaxed silhouette makes it easy to layer hoodies and midlayers underneath, while still looking clean and modern on the hill and around the base area.
  • PFAS-free, recycled fabric: Built with a PFAS-free DWR and a shell that’s predominantly recycled polyester, you get planet-friendlier materials without sacrificing durability or performance.
  • Mesh-lined venting: Zip open the mesh-lined underarm vents when you’re hiking, lapping park, or riding spring slush to dump heat quickly on the go.
  • Smart pocket layout: Hand pockets, an internal media/kangaroo pocket, goggle stash, and a sleeve pass pocket keep your phone, pass, and essentials secure and easy to reach.
  • Comfort-focused details: The HydroSmart collar is designed to be kind to your skin in cold, windy weather, while Lycra® wrist gaiters and an adjustable hood keep the elements out.

Waterproof Warmth You Can Trust

  • Shell & membrane: 10K/10K waterproof-breathable construction pairs a durable cord/slub shell with a breathable barrier to keep moisture out while letting excess heat escape.
  • Insulation package: Roxy WarmFlight® Eco insulation is strategically mapped—warmer through the core, a bit lighter in the sleeves and hood—for a natural feel and balanced warmth.
  • Lining & feel: A smooth recycled polyester taffeta lining with brushed tricot panels feels soft, slides easily over base layers, and helps trap heat where you need it most.
  • Critically taped seams: Seams in key exposure zones are taped to stop melt and sleet from sneaking in through the stitching.
  • All-day comfort range: Designed for typical resort winter conditions—cold to very cold days on the mountain when paired with the right base and mid layers.

Fit, Function & On-Hill Features

  • Relaxed women’s fit: A roomy, relaxed cut gives you the freedom to tweak grabs, turn your shoulders, and add layers underneath without feeling restricted.
  • Helmet-friendly hood: A 3-way adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with a high collar lets you fine-tune coverage whether you’re braving a storm or cruising on bluebird days.
  • Powder skirt & integration: A fixed powder skirt with snap-away system and jacket-to-pant attachment loops helps seal out snow when you’re riding deeper days or taking a tumble.
  • Vents where you need them: Mesh-lined underarm vents let you cool off fast on bootpacks, in the park, or during warm spring sessions.
  • Wrist gaiters & cuffs: Internal Lycra® wrist gaiters with thumbholes and adjustable outer cuffs keep snow out of your sleeves and help your gloves overlap cleanly.
  • Pocket details: Hand pockets with a key clip, a sleeve pass pocket, internal media/kangaroo pocket, and goggle pocket keep your kit organized and secure.
  • HydroSmart collar: The inner collar uses Roxy’s HydroSmart tech, designed to help reduce chafing and irritation around your chin and neck on long, cold days.

Who It’s For

  • Resort riders & all-mountain cruisers: Ideal for riders who spend most of their time on lifts, groomers, side hits, and off-piste stashes in typical resort conditions.
  • Progressing through advanced levels: The forgiving fit and intuitive features work well for newer riders, while the full feature set stands up to the demands of confident intermediates and advanced riders.
  • Style-conscious shredders: Perfect if you want a technical snowboard jacket that rides like legit outerwear but still brings Roxy’s colorblocked, feminine aesthetic.

Compared with entry-level jackets, the Cheer Up steps up with 10K/10K waterproofing, mapped WarmFlight® Eco insulation, true underarm venting, and a full complement of on-hill features like a powder skirt, HydroSmart collar, and wrist gaiters.

Bottom line: The Roxy Cheer Up Jacket is a warm, relaxed-fit women’s snowboard/ski jacket built to keep you comfortable, dry, and organized from first chair to last run, with recycled materials and PFAS-free finishes for a lighter footprint.

Zip in, stash your essentials, and head for the lift—this is the jacket you grab when you want dependable performance and all-day comfort with Roxy style.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
