The SwitchPath™ Exhaust comprises 3-inch U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel featuring a bespoke, straight-through center resonator featuring AWE’s proprietary drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®, tuned specifically for the 4.0TT. Maintaining and utilizing the factory valve behavior, SwitchPath™ tech obeys orders given via the MMI and Drive Select to determine its mood just as the stock exhaust would. When the valves are closed, the SwitchPath™ Exhaust produces a sophisticated soundtrack. At cruising speeds, interior acoustics are close to stock with no drone thanks to the 180 Technology® resonator. SwitchPath™ tech also responds perfectly to Drive Select, so if you drop the hammer while cruising, expect it to behave just like factory. Open the valves and the 4.0TT’s roar is uncorked. Dynamic mode achieves the ultimate contrast in behavior when compared to comfort driving modes. The exhaust note is powerful, clean, and aggressive. Thanks to the 180 Technology®-equipped resonator in the center, drone-prone frequencies are still kept in check while allowing the exhaust note to reach full aggression. Now, let's chat about tips: given the RS’ interior sound deadening, it made hearing the enhanced exhaust sound a challenge. Enter AWE’s parabolic tip design–the ReflecTip–engineered to reflect the exhaust note toward the driver. They’re 31% larger than the stock tips, fill the valance perfectly, and come standard in AWE’s signature diamond black finish. They mount independently to the bumper via included brackets allowing them to float around the outlets of the SwitchPath™ exhaust, reflect off of the inner geometry of the tips, and back towards you. AWE SwitchPath™ Exhausts come complete with two AWE parabolic tips in diamond black, two valve extension harnesses, and all required hardware and bracketry for installation. Like everything Camco, it's a very solid "okay"
Size: 25-Foot, Style: Standard End
Any time you run a 30-Amp extension cord, you create a voltage drop, which might cause problems with things like air conditioners. A high-quality, low-gauge extension cord will minimize this. The Camco cord is, in my opinion, just enough to make things work, but with no extra capacity. The price point reflects this, and the value-for-money is good. The connectors on the ends are both rather coarse, and required some very minor filing and some di-electric grease to make them easier to use. In its favor, the cord itself is flexible and easy to wrap and keep neat. At the end of the day, this product does what it's supposed to do, and is priced very reasonably.
