Here for the first time, the life story of the only woman to fight for the French Legion is one that few dare to even imagine. Born to a life of privilege, Susan spends her childhood longing for excitement. After being expelled from finishing school for being too interested in men, she signed up with the Free French in 1940 and sailed to Africa where she traveled the country fighting the war and taking on lovers, eventually becoming a driver to General Koenig of the Foreign Legion. He was to become her lover and the man for whom she would risk everything. A military leader of Olympian detach, he was in private a sensitive soul, sharing poetry with Susan, including the piece from which the title of the book is taken, Tomorrow To Be Brave. He was also the man who helped change the face of Rommel's North African campaign. At the great siege of Bir Hakeim, the general's troops were surrounded for fifteen days by Rommel's Panzer division. Susan refused to leave the General's side and evetually, at the wheel of his car, led the convoy of vehicles and men across the minefields as part of a daring mass breakout. Hailed as the heroine of the night, Susan was rewarded with the love and loyalty of the legion with whom she served as its only official female member ever. In 1997 in a simple ceremony attended by the few remaining survivors of the corps with which she fought, the Legion presented Susan Travers, now a frail 88 year old, with the Legion d'Honneur--their highest award for bravery. I hadn’t ordered bananas for about a month due to what I’d received in the past.
Personal preference? I want those lovely pale green ends! Please!!! I don’t like the flavor or even the change in scent that happens when bananas turn darker yellow, freckle - or worse? Turn brown. Yuck.
Each previous delivery, I hadn’t been able to eat more than 3 out of each bunch because of the already yellowed fruit received. I even tried the currently trendy recommendation of wrapping the individual stem ends in plastic wrap to help slow the ripening process.
Was very pleased to receive a bunch of 6 small sized bananas, all delicately green and completely beautiful!
Beautiful job by the thoughtful delivery person as well, who didn’t just leave the bags in the rain on the (only 2!) steps, but made sure they were under the protection of the porch and not blocking my door.
Some items I never order anymore (beloved snap peas and garnet potatoes are two examples) after receiving spoiled items - more than once.
Apparently notifying Amazon of our understandable disappointment, not to mention the waste! can sometimes improve the quality of items delivered.

Great-Tasting Protein Shake With Fresh Product Dates and Excellent Nutrition

I picked up this Premier Protein chocolate shake 12-pack mainly as a convenient daily protein option, and overall the quality has been excellent.
The chocolate flavor tastes very good without being overly sweet, and the texture is smooth compared to many protein drinks that can feel chalky or heavy. The 30 grams of protein also make it very practical for quick meals, post-workout use, or busy days when preparing food is not convenient.
One thing I appreciated is that the product arrived with fresh expiration dates, which is important when buying protein drinks in bulk. The packaging was also in good condition, and the bottles were easy to store and carry.

The Premier Protein Shakes are offered in Chocolate and several other flavors, all very good and tasty in my humble opinion ! If you are looking for a drink with a lot of protein - 30 Grams Protein and numerous other vitamins and minerals all with NO ADDED SUGAR, try these drinks. You will be glad you did... it is a great way to begin your day or even drink at mid-day for a healthy pick-me-up. They are so easy to use in this box style container and also come in bottles. The chocolate is so delicious, try it, then try all the other flavors, like Cafe Latte, Caramel, Vanilla, Strawberry. You will be delighted with getting your nutrition in a really chocolatey drink.

What's small and powerful and full of protein?

This is better than expected - filling - chocolate-milkish taste - lots of protein - only o few calories - good for
times you want to eat less but still have energy - It is a good product to have on hand - it is filling - this
is not exciting but rather useful in a busy life -when you don't want to cook, before a medical procedure
or any situation where less is more. The taste is good enough - best ice cold - I would recommend this
product.
