Vinyl LP repressing of this 1968 album. In the late '60s, Pip Proud recorded two of the oddest records ever to come out of Australia-ADRENALINE & RICHARD and a BIRD IN THE ENGINE-before vanishing into obscurity for the better part of three decades. Often called the 'Australian Syd Barrett,' Proud actually released his second album in 1969, a year prior to the Madcap Laughs, and developed his indigenous psychedelia in virtual isolation. To quote Byron Coley, who like a handful of underground luminaries discovered Proud in the '80s via collector mail-order lists, Adreneline & Richard features 'weirdly strummed bar-chord guitar, monotone vocals that occasionally [try] to pass way beyond their known range, oddball lyrics that [combine] nursery rhymes with druggy imagery. It [is] a hell of a cool record.' While other compilations of Proud's music have been released in recent years, this is the first time that Adreneline & Richard has been reissued in it's original format (including inner sleeve with lyrics). Recommended for fans of outsider and lo-fidelity pop from the US, UK, New Zealand and beyond.

Falling apart

I bought these two weeks ago for my daughter to train and use for a mini triathalon she is doing and the sole tread are already coming apart in several areas. Including the toe. Not worth the money

Not True “Running” Shoes
Size: 3 Big Kid, Color: Plum/White
Okay every day shoes but not great for running. I’m a small adult, who happens to fit in kid sized shoes. While it has its perks of being cheaper, finding a good supportive shoe in youth size has its challenges. Youth shoes are not always built to last due to the fact kids grow out of them quickly. I had high hopes for these, and bought them on sale. Initially trying them on, they felt great. But after a few runs and miles on them they just weren’t cut out for running. I only ever do a mile here and there. After a month and maybe only 10 miles in them I was experiencing shin splints. So they’re only good for every day errands and I upgraded my running shoes to something else. They do fit true to size though! Was to clean. And very pretty purple.
