DESCRIPTION

Il y a environ cinq mille ans, un groupe résilient d’agriculteurs et de chasseurs a bâti une communauté prospère sur les îles Orkney, dans le nord de l’Écosse. Plutôt que de jeter leurs coquilles vides, outils cassés, os et autres déchets, ils les ont utilisés pour former de grands monticules de terre sur des centaines d’années. Les générations suivantes ont creusé dans ces piles pour créer une série de pièces et de tunnels à l’abri des vents violents et des mois d’hiver froids.

Le but de Skara Brae est de rassembler diverses ressources afin de nourrir, habiller et abriter le nombre croissant de colons. Les joueurs à tour de rôle dessinent des cartes de village et utilisent leurs ouvriers pour fournir, cuisiner, fabriquer, nettoyer et échanger. À la fin de chaque tour, les joueurs doivent pourvoir à leurs Settlers et vont probablement créer plus de Midden qui doit être nettoyé. Après 4 rounds, le joueur avec le plus de points de victoire (VP) gagne.
