Part of the Harvest to Gather family of companies, Ecosystem Hub is pleased to offer ecological monitoring training services that guide land managers on using holistic management to achieve regenerative outcomes. Please visit ecosystemhub.ca or contact us to learn more.

The course will provide the opportunity for participants to work on both a growing and a non-growing season plan, using a scenario provided by the educator and/or details from their own property for one of the plans.

In the latter case, some work will be needed after the course to complete the plan, but participants will leave the course with a good understanding of what remains to be done and how to do it. The focus of this course is on learning the process because once that is understood, any situation, no matter how complex, becomes relatively easy to plan.

Why Holistic Planned Grazing is important: It caters to all the many variables that are commonly left out of grazing planning, such as erratic weather, different types or classes of livestock, grazing through croplands, orchards, vineyards, wildlife needs, and family needs (such as vacations), and much more. Although people think they can plan all of this in their heads or assisted by a calendar, notebook or chart, it is simply not possible to achieve the best plan in such a way. Following the aide memoir step by step while noting each decision on the chart renders even the most complicated situation simple— and produces the best possible plan. And this allows us to manage livestock grazing so that animals stay healthy and productive while increasing the biological capital that will sustain our business or livelihood for generations to come.

Great Toy
Size: One Size
My three year old loves to play fetch and this dog toy was perfect for him. With the bright, signature orange and blue colors, he can easily spot it when I throw it even in the night. He really loves it when it bounces on the ground as he prefers to jump up and get it. The toy has been through a lot and so far he hasn't chewed through it yet as it is very thick for him to get through.

Lasted whole five minutes!
Size: One Size, Size: One Size
I received this last night and did a cute "unwrapping" this morning for my dog, who was thrilled to get new balls. Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived. I know the description says this isn't a chew toy or for aggressive chewers, but lasting only five minutes is ridiculous. You can see in my photo that it ripped from a single bite while my pup was just pulling the ball. I thought that was exactly what this toy was designed for!

Our GSD loves this toy whether playing with it by himself or with us - he grabs the rope and flings it then chases it…it’s become his favorite toy!

Dog loves it, but it comes apart pretty quick.
Size: One Size
The dog loved chasing it and playing tug-of-war, but it lasted less than 30 days. If the outer rubber portion of cover was thicker, or all canvas material, it would probably last for a few months of rough play. May buy again if I can't find something similar to try.

This is a big ball.
Larger than I thought but still a great toy for a heavy chew pup, easy to toss and won't go under funiture. She has the same ball in a 5 inch size so I know it's quality and will last. Can't wait for Summer, will make a great yard ball.
