Arbois Les Nouvelles Savignin Ouille 2018From one of our favorite makers out of Jura, comes a wine from old vines of Savignin. This wine is aged in open top barrels and topped up or ouille to counteract evaporation and prevent over oxidation, contrary to the traditional Jurassien style. Aromatic with good acidity on the tense, balanced palate transitions to a long, nutty, mineral finish with white florals. Equal parts cerebral and smashable.
