Enemy jarls now defend the settlements you raid, mixed in with Plunder and Valkyrie so you never know who you’ll face until you reveal them. When you encounter a jarl, you choose to kill, subdue, or flee—each option carrying real consequences in rewards, injuries, or lost points. Wound tokens weaken your crew over time, forcing smarter recruiting and tighter timing.
