The album appeared on year-end lists everywhere from NPR Music to New York Magazine’s Vulture. With Turn Out the Lights, Baker returns to a much bigger stage, but with the same core of breathtaking vulnerability and resilience. From its opening moments — when her chiming, evocative melody is accompanied by swells of strings — Turn Out the Lights throws open the doors to the world without sacrificing the intimacy that has become a hallmark of her songs. The album was recorded at the legendary Ardent Studios in her hometown of Memphis, TN, and mixed by Craig Silvey (The National, Arcade Fire). This evolution from ‘Sprained Ankle’s intentionally spare production allows Baker — who is still the album’s sole producer and writer — greater scope and freedom. Strings and woodwinds now shade the corners of her compositions, and Baker takes to piano rather than guitar on several tracks, pushing the 21-yearold Baker’s work to cinematic heights of intensity. |

Good Fit, Fold Lines
5'9, around 125-130 pounds, and the Small fit me just fine. Adjuster strap provides a great range of... adjustment. Good waistcoat if you are looking for something quick and cheap. With it being cheap, however, the material suffers. Due to it being folded while in shipping, there are seem lines going down the sides of the waistcoat which make it poke out and look awkward.

Great vest for a great price!
This vest is more slim fitting, stylish, & flattering than many vests. It fits as expected, but it is adjustable in the back, so you do have some wiggle room to tighten & loosen it if you’re unsure about the size. My son wore this vest to homecoming. He is 5’ 10” & 150 lbs, & the size small was a good fit.

Great quality vest versatile for all occasions. I personally felt it ran a bit tight (I ordered a large and felt like I was sucking in a bit the whole time) but I think an XL would have been too big. Overall impressed and happy with purchase.
