This antique crate carries with it a ton of history! Estimated to be from the 1950s, this crate was used to transport "Clover Club Beverages," as noted on two of the four sides. The shorter sides are a little harder to read, but upon close inspection, you can see that one side says "Property of Star Bottling Works / Youngstown, Ohio / Phone 38419." Although one of the bottom boards has broken away, the remaining boards appear to be very solid and in good, vintage condition. Would recommend reinforcing the bottom and then it may very well be as good as new! Even without the intention of utilizing this crate for transporting items, it would make a wonderful addition to any farmhouse or rustic home decor. Measures approx. 12" x 19" x 11".
