Assorted Natural-Rooster Schlappens Feather Boa is 2 yards (6 ft) long, and approx 6-7" diameter. This boa is made from an natural assortment types of schlappen feathers located at the base of the tail of the Rooster. Schlappen feathers are soft and flexible, but wider than the saddle feathers and the stem is thinner than coque feathers giving it more of a drooping effect. The assortment of natural tones of schlappen feathers will range from beige, brown, rust, white and cream, to iridescent bronze. Schlappen boas can be cut without unraveling as feathers are sewn on to a cotton cord.
