This commemorative piece is a tribute to the founders of Pilot, Ryosuke Namiki and Masao Wada, who in 1925, departed from Yokohama Port carrying Japanese-made gold-nib fountain pens to introduce their craftsmanship to the world.
The pen’s design is inspired by the themes of voyage, challenge, and pioneering. Its aluminum body features a dusk-to-dawn gradient, transitioning from a deep indigo to a warm coral-pink, with a rotary silk printing technique used to depict subtle star patterns. This creates a refined, ethereal effect that symbolizes new beginnings. The pen is equipped with a rhodium-plated 18-karat gold nib in a Fine size, ensuring a superior writing experience.
This special edition is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide. Each pen is presented in a matching gift box that includes a CON-40 converter, a black ink cartridge, and all relevant documentation, making it a valuable collector's item.
