Once docked you can lower the ramp and use the working crane to off-load the containers from the ship then get ready for the next shipment. Before long the ship is back on its way!
Just like the huge prototypes, the two bunkers in the ship's hold can be loaded with bulk material (granulate or sand) or with the two containers. But in addition, cars and trucks can also be carried on the deck of the container ship. For this, the vehicles can enter the two bunkers via the stern.
The containers can be moved up or down using the rotating crane and the mobile trolley, which has a special gripper. Naturally, these match the 1:50 scale semi-trailers from SIKU which are waiting on the quayside. The shovel provided can be used for unloading.
This SIKU model is manufactured from plastic components. SIKU models contain no PVC and meet international toy safety standards.
