In the village of Rudo, Chelchele in Ethiopia, Shibru Dube owns and operates a small farm with the help of his son, Kefyalew. The farm began exporting through commodity channels in 2019, eventually seeking quality improvements following a higher cherry price in 2023. However, on his way to meet a buyer in Yirgacheffe, he got in a motorcycle accident that left him with 2 broken legs. Following this setback, with help from his son and with buyer interest steadily increasing in the 2024-25 harvest season, Shibru and Kefyalew were able to export this natural process lot through Crop to Cup this year. This single estate lot is incredibly clean, showing remarkable effort and attention to detail with careful processing.
Cup notes: In the cup, we find a very delicate and floral Earl Grey note right up front, with more subtle orange blossom notes rising to the surface as it cools. A zippy and tart raspberry acidity sparkles throughout the cup, eventually combining with the florals to form a white strawberry flavor.

It helps with dry mouth!
These really help with dry mouth and the flavors taste good. It doesn't come in a plastic container like the picture which was disappointing. And it is a little expensive but it is a good variety but I do think it would look better in the box shown here instead of in a box. I poured in in another bag.

Less flavor than the pops. Very disappointing.
I bought these after trying the lollipop type of the same brand. Honestly? I was disappointed in the lack of flavor in yhe drops versus the lollipop style. The reason I purchased the drops was because I do not like dealing with the stick of the pop and just wanted the sucker part of the candy. I thought being the same flavors that they would have the same taste. They do not. The drops have much less enjoyable flavor and are quite bland in comparison to the lollipop style. I guess I'm sticking with dealing with the stick to get any good flavor.
I also wish the variety of the flavors in both the Zollipops and Zolli Drops was more evenly distributed. The orange are my favorite flavor and the ratio is low compared to the pink or purple and less flavorful pieces. Anyway, just my 2 cents on the difference I noticed between the two variations of the same product.
