As a species of intelligent life, living on this planet and in this universe, we have a duty of responsibility to determine what that truth is in a way that we can prove it to ourselves as a fact of knowledge that can be proven to be true beyond any shadow of a doubt. If we exist as a living form of conscious intelligence, then that is the goal we should be aiming for, because finding the truth about the origins of the universe, leads to the truth about the reason why we are a living part of it.
