It is popular today in cosmetics, perfumes & luxury goods because it smells simply amazing. It is referred to as “Liquid Gold” because it is so highly sought after.
It’s tremendously popular because it smells great & ticks all the boxes for people with busy lives. The smell of Sandalwood can help centre the mind, induce a sense of calm & promote inner peace. It can be used to enhance romantic feelings & may help put a smile on your face if you’re having a bad day.
Sandalwood has been over harvested in some areas of the world because of its value & the fact that it grows so slowly – It takes up to 30 years for the trees to produce oil. Australia is now the largest supplier of Sandalwood in the world & our oil is sourced from sustainable sources here in Australia.
It is a super strong scent and very expensive, which is why we combine Sandalwood with a super high grade carrier oil. This makes it easier to measure out & enjoy. It also makes it affordable & means that it will not overpower a room or one of our Bespoke products.
Smells Like.
Mid to Strong base note that is simply stunning. It’s one of the most expensive essential oils & is prized because it is sweet, soft, woody & has a hint of balsamic.
We Say.
Sandalwood is about as lux as you can get. It will pair fantastically with all of our products & will linger lovingly.
Great for application day or night, it can help act as a shield for you during a busy day & bring you peace & relaxation in the evening.
If you haven’t tried it in our bubble bath or body lotion you don’t know what you’re missing out on.
Uses.
Bespoke: Amazing with everything. Yep. It's that good.
Vaporiser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Diffuser: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Burner: Start with 6 to 8 drops.
Bath: Add 8 to 12 drops to your bath.
Shower: 3 or 4 drops in the corner of the shower.
Sauna: Add 6 to 8 drops to your ladle of water and pour over hot rocks.
Hands & feet: Add 2 to 4 drops to a bowl of warm water and soak.
On the go: Open the cap and inhale straight from the bottle or add a drop or two to your face mask.
Bed: Add a couple of drops to your pillow.
