I do the double cleansing with the oil first then this product and the really help keep my skin feel protected and soft. So gas as the foaming I use less than a dime maybe a quarter the size of a dime and get great foaming. Definitely add the soup first then some water to get the foaminess. Since I started using this cleanser I feel the effects are not hearsay or stripping. Pros: Scent free, requires small amount for a good cleansing and leave you feeling soft yet cleaned and ready for your next step like toner or witch hazel. Cons: None for now. I really like this product and recommend to anyone who needs a good scent free cleanser

Love this cleanser. I use it night for after oil cleansing. I have oily, dehydrated mature skin. I have roseca on my cheeks so I have to be careful of harsher cleansers. Doesn't strip my face, but doesn't leave any residue like so many hydrating cleansers do. It doesn't irritate my roseca & doesn't break me out. I have also used this as a morning cleanser while traveling & it doesn't disappoint. I have a different morning cleanser that is more creamy, but isn't enough at night. I'm going on my 3rd tube & will continue to buy! I would say if you have dry skin, this may not be suited for you because it is a gel cleanser.
