A royal addition to your premium bioactive display! These stunning, highly sought-after exotic isopods belong to the famous Cubaris genus and are named for their incredible resemblance to a red panda. Featuring bold, alternating bands of rich reddish-orange, cream, and stark white, the "Red Panda King" is an absolute showstopper. They combine elite visual appeal with fantastic utility, working tirelessly behind the scenes to maintain a pristine ecosystem.

Why choose Reptile Deli "Red Panda King" Isopods?

  • Stunning Visual Highlights: Their brilliant coloration and unique patterning make them incredibly easy to spot in your terrarium. They turn your clean-up crew into an interactive centerpiece that guests will love to watch.

  • Premium Display Clean-up Crew: While they are a luxury collector species, they don't slack on the job! These isopods are fantastic at consuming waste, mold, decaying wood, and leaf litter, keeping your enclosure healthy and balanced.

  • Fascinating Behavior: Unlike some shy species, Red Panda Kings are quite active and love to climb on cork bark and explore their surroundings, making them a joy for hobbyists who enjoy observing terrarium life.

  • Perfect for Tropical Enclosures: They thrive in warm, humid microclimates, making them the absolute perfect match for high-humidity setups featuring dart frogs, crested geckos, or tropical invertebrates.

  • An Isopod Collector's Dream: If you are looking to elevate your collection or build a truly top-tier bioactive habitat, the Red Panda King offers premium, exotic beauty without being overly fragile.

Each order contains a minimum of 10 isopods at various life stages. We also include a culture starter cup containing a safe shipping medium to ensure your premium isopods arrive healthy, stress-free, and ready to rule your vivarium!

Complete your bioactive setup and support your new colony with these top-quality products:

  • Reptile Deli Springtails: The perfect partner for your isopods! Springtails work on a micro-level, cleaning up mold and detritus that isopods might miss, creating the ultimate cleanup crew synergy.

  • Reptile Deli Bioactive Substrate: A specially formulated blend of organic materials that provides the perfect home for your isopods and plants, promoting healthy soil and a thriving ecosystem.

  • Reptile Deli Isopod & Springtail Food: A nutritious, all-in-one food mix that ensures your cleanup crew is healthy, happy, and multiplying rapidly. This supplement helps them thrive when there isn't enough decaying matter in the enclosure.

  • Reptile Deli Cork Bark & Leaf Litter: Essential for providing your isopods with shelter, moisture retention, and a natural food source. They love to hide and forage beneath these natural materials.

[Quick Care Guide]

  1. Housing: A small container (like a shoebox-sized plastic tub) with good ventilation works well. Use a bioactive substrate as a base.
  2.  Substrate: We recommend our BIO MIX, but if you would like to make your own,  mix of coconut coir, compost, and sphagnum moss is ideal. Keep one side of the substrate moist and allow the other to be slightly drier.
  3. Temperature & Humidity: Maintain a temperature between 68-78°F (20-25°C). Keep humidity moderate, providing a humid hide with wet sphagnum moss.
  4.  Food: Offer a varied diet of decaying leaf litter, soft rotting wood, and occasional supplements like Reptile Deli Isopod & Springtail Food, fresh vegetables (like carrots or zucchini), and calcium powder.
  5. Maintenance: Mist the moist side of the enclosure as needed to prevent it from drying out. Replenish food sources and leaf litter every few weeks. With proper care, your colony will flourish!

Extremely hard and durable
Color: Blue
These are very hard , but my puppy lives them and my large dog can't tear them up, so that is a huge plus.

Large breed approved
Color: Blue
these incredible aggressive chew toys – they've seriously been a game-changer for my pups! I know it's a bit late, but better late than never, right? I've got a couple of power chewers at home, a Rottweiler and a Labrador, and anyone with big dogs knows the struggle of finding toys that actually last. These bad boys have been in constant rotation for over a year now, and I'm genuinely impressed by their resilience. They're incredibly tough! Funnily enough, we originally had three, but now we're down to just one. The others aren't broken, though – I'm pretty sure my dogs just loved them so much they've hidden them away in some secret stash, as they tend to do with their favorite treasures! Beyond just being durable, these toys have been a massive help with their training. They’re fantastic for redirecting all that enthusiastic chewing away from my furniture and shoes, which, let's be honest, is a huge win for any pet parent! Considering how long they've held up to some serious chomping, the price point is absolutely spot on. You definitely get great value for your money.watch your toe they are heavy. If you've got a dog that's a champion chewer, you absolutely need to try these out. They're a lifesaver!

Durable chew toy.
Color: Blue
My dog loves these. She chews on them a lot. She seems to like the different shapes. She is part Pit and an aggressive chewer. These chew toys last a long time. And I love the three pack so if we lose one, we always have a spare.

Decent durability for the price
Color: Blue
Bought a bunch of these for a dog shelter and have to say - decent for the price of you have aggressive chewers. All of the toys are still going 6+ months later, even with the strongest jawed pitty mix. Does get torn up at the ends but can easily be sanded down for a longer lasting toy, unlike some other hard toys with material not meant for sanding. The antler and ring seem to be favorites. The antler even has a divot so you can put soft treats in it or peanut butter and freeze it for a more interactive experience. Some came with a strong beef/liver smell but not overwhelming or off-putting. They are hefty without being too heavy, less likely to damage floors. Overall a good purchase
