COURSE OVERVIEW:

Welcome to the Implementing Integrated Management Systems in Business course. This program has been designed to equip you with a solid understanding of how contemporary management practices can be integrated to support sustainable performance, resilience, and long-term business success across a wide range of industries and organisational contexts.

Modern organisations operate in increasingly complex and dynamic environments that demand coordinated, informed, and adaptable management approaches. This course begins by introducing the foundations of contemporary business management, examining core management principles and their relevance across diverse industries. It explores the role of managers in balancing organisational sustainability and growth, and emphasises the importance of aligning vision, strategy, and day-to-day operations to achieve consistent and effective execution.

Strategic management provides the direction that guides all organisational activity. This section explores how vision and mission are translated into strategic direction, how environmental and competitive analysis informs decision-making, and how strategies are formulated, implemented, and evaluated. Learners examine the manager’s role in ensuring strategy remains responsive to internal and external change.

Operations management focuses on turning strategy into action. This section examines the design of efficient operational systems, resource and capacity planning, supply chain and workflow coordination, and the use of continuous improvement methods to enhance productivity, quality, and service outcomes.

This section explores budgeting, forecasting, cost control, financial reporting, performance analysis, and cash flow management. Learners develop an understanding of how financial insight supports strategic and operational choices.

Performance management ensures that organisational and individual efforts are aligned with strategic priorities. This section examines the setting of performance objectives, the use of KPIs and measurement frameworks, monitoring and feedback mechanisms, and the integration of performance outcomes into broader business strategy.

Change management is essential in responding to evolving business conditions. This section explores drivers of organisational change, structured approaches to planning and implementation, strategies for managing resistance, and methods for sustaining and embedding new practices over time.

Risk management supports organisational resilience and informed decision-making. This section examines how to identify strategic, operational, and financial risks, assess and prioritise them, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor and report risk to support governance and accountability.

Human resource management focuses on building organisational capability. This section explores workforce planning, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, workplace policies, and learning and development practices that support skills enhancement and performance.

Team management plays a critical role in achieving organisational outcomes. This section examines how to build effective teams, apply leadership styles that motivate and engage, foster collaboration and communication, and manage conflict and team dynamics constructively.

Stakeholder management ensures that organisational decisions consider diverse interests and expectations. This section explores identifying stakeholders, understanding their needs, developing communication and engagement strategies, and managing relationships and influence effectively.

Project management provides structure for delivering change and initiatives. This section examines project planning and scoping, scheduling, resourcing and budgeting, progress monitoring, issue management, and project closure and evaluation.

Quality management supports consistency and customer confidence. This section explores quality principles, management systems, process improvement, quality assurance, customer focus, and methods for measuring and improving quality outcomes.

Okay for small projects, terrible for bigger or full sheet use.
Number of Items: 20
I needed some decals for light colored shirts but wanted something that felt better quality and gave me a higher quantity than the typical Avery brand iron on sheets. Avery is better. These no matter how much I ironed with my heat press or iron, a portion of the decal would not adhere to the shirt even after double checking the shirt materials and heat settings only the edges of the decal adhered to the shirt. The rest of the sheets either stayed stuck to the backing sheet or loose on the ironed shirt and quickly tore. I would not recommend these for professional small businesses or even the crafty mom. Not worth it. I purchased two boxes and still the same result with both. Do not waste you money like I did. You will be sorely disappointed.

Not for professional usage
Number of Items: 20
Image is a pain to adhere. Using my heat press even on a low setting caused serious sticking. Using the iron sucked because it took for ever to get the image to adhere to the shirt. It was so much stuck paper after cooling off, I ended up ruining 4 shirts.. I would not buy this again. If you are using just to try images and designs maybe, if using in a business manner I wouldn’t!

My Go-To Sublimation Paper — Flawless Results Every Time
Size: 8.5"x11", Size: 8.5"x11"
This is hands down the best sublimation paper I’ve used and the only one I continue to buy. I get a perfect transfer every single time—no fracturing, no fading, and no uneven results. The paper dries fast, which makes my workflow so much smoother, especially when I’m producing items in batches. I use this regularly to make air fresheners and tote bags for my small business, and the color payoff is always vibrant and crisp. The transfer rate is excellent, and it works beautifully on light-colored, high-quality polyester and other sublimation-ready surfaces. If you’re a small business owner or crafter who values consistency, quality, and ease of use, this paper is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it and will continue to repurchase.

Best Sublimation Paper
Size: 8.5"x11"
I’ve been using A-Sub paper for my sublimation projects, and it is easily one of the best. The ink dries almost instantly once printed, so I don’t have to worry about smudging the design or getting those annoying "pizza wheel" marks from the printer rollers. The paper itself feels substantial and doesn't tear or curl easily. One of the biggest wins for me is that it never jams; it feeds through perfectly every time, saving me the frustration of wasting expensive ink and paper. When I go to press my designs, the ink releases almost completely, leaving very little behind on the paper and putting all that color onto the project. The final results look super professional, with colors that are vibrant and sharp rather than looking faded or dull. It has worked perfectly for everything I’ve tried so far, and if you want a reliable paper that gives you consistent, high-quality results, this is definitely the one to get.
