Legend has it that along their long path of spiritual reflection, Popes enjoyed a Côtes du Rhône famous for expressing the richness and abundance of the local land to perfection. The wine was naturally baptised Chemin des Papes, the Path of the Popes.

The palate opens with superb freshness with fine, velvety tannins, followed by mentholated aromas, blackberry, cherry, black olive tapenade and smoked wood. Lovely minerality on the finish. The 2019 vintage is true to the atypical and highly individual profile of this wine, and once again we have a magnificent harvest. Great ageing potential in perspective.
