The grapes were sourced from a number of vineyard sites in Hawke’s Bay.

Vintage 2021 has been of exceptional quality and the resulting wines will be celebrated and reflected on for many years to come. With a lower yield due to a combination of frosts and cooler weather during flowering, the grapes ripened quickly resulting in a compact and quick harvest. 

A slow, temperature controlled fermentation of small parcels was undertaken, followed by a period of contact with the lees to add complexity to the wine. These parcels were then blended and the wine was bottled young to capture the aromatic characters and freshness.

Food Pairing: This wine is delicious on its own or enjoy slightly chilled with a chicken Caesar salad.
