Nearly 1,800 trees on standard rootstock (hautes-tiges) grace the 15-hectare property, which is considered the most admired in the AOC Calvados appellation. The soil is loamy, composed of an ideal combination of silt and clay, and about 30 varieties of apples are grown on the property, predominantly from the sweet and bittersweet categories. Jean-Francois ferments and ages his cider for about 8–12 months before it is single distilled in a traveling, wood-fired column still. The spirits then go into large, elongated barrels (stained black by time) or well-seasoned 400-liter barrels ideal for developing complex flavor.About this Calvados:

A blend of vintages, minimum 6-years-old with the oldest component a minimum 30-years-old (vintages will vary lot to lot)
Cider is naturally fermented sur lie in fiberglass, stainless steel, and enamel-lined tanks for 8–12 months
Distilled on a traveling, wood-fired copper column still
Aged in used French oak of varying sizes and proofed slowly over time with low-mineral water from one of the property’s wells
Aromas of deep green apple, vanilla, honey, and a touch of almond lead to a round, oily mouthfeel and a long finish; a wonderful representation of the third Calvados appellation!

Food for thought (and life) for ages to come
Format: Paperback
Blessed John Paul II shared with the whole world the fruit of years of lived life and deep reflection, prior to being elected Bishop of Rome. Anyone who wishes to delve into this work is in for a hard-earned yet worthy treat, as it is not always an easy read, but deeply satisfying. John Paul II's understudy and friend, Stanislaw Grygiel, once challenged the pope saying that few would actually understand what he taught. The Pope replied, "Some things just have to be said!" Thanks to Prof. Michael Waldstein, we have an excellent introduction and much-improved translation of this monumental work. As I said in the title, there is the pope's catecheses on the theology of the body much food for thought (and life...and love!) for ages to come. Blessed John Paul II, thank you and pray for us!

Good to use every night...I do.
If you suffer from dry mouth during the night, these are the perfect solution. I had tried rinses - they don't last. Sprays - they don't last. lozenges - don't last. Other tablets, only last a few hours. I can get about 8 hours relief with these. Contrary to other reviews, you do not suck on them like a lozenge...they won't last at all if you do it that way. Read the directions. They "adhere" to your back molars...don't drink or eat after putting them in...as both will either dislodge or reduce the effectiveness. However, when I don't use these, my mouth is miserable and so dry. These provide enough moisture throughout the night. The flavors aren't too bad. I've used the mint (not may favorite because I'm not a fan of mint flavor), orange and berry. I wish they had other flavors (cinnamon, licorice), but till then, I'll use these probably forever.

Really helpful for dry mouth.

These really work. I wear a CPAP and my mouth was so dry I was waking up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth. They stick well so no worry of swallowing it during the night. I like the berry flavor.
