Begin with a lower dose when consuming a new sacred herb to test your reaction first, then if you have a positive or neutral experience, you can gradually increase the dosage ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS (not at the same time) but never exceed the dosage that is recommended for each sacred herb.
DO NOT combine ANY of these sacred herbs with other herbal remedies, medicines, supplements or illicit substances.
DO NOT operate a vehicle or machinery after consuming these sacred herbs.
Kanna (Sceletium Tortuosum) should not be consumed if you take anti-depressants (MAOIs, SSRIs), as well as other serotonin-releasing or affecting substances such as 5-HTP, Ayahuasca, MDMA (Ecstasy, XTC), Migraine medication, L-Tryptophan, Tramadol.
Kava (piper methysticum) should not be combined with paracetamol, alcohol, or other sedatives (downers) as doing so may result in excess sedation and may also be hard on the liver. Kava is best on an empty stomach.
