The hot side tube that is inside the HSP Intercooler Charge Pipe Bundle is a part that is often overlooked. The hotside pipe that comes from the factory on the LLY trucks is often known to fail. The factory routing that it takes rubs on the power steering line, this causes the line to create a hole in the tube resulting in a boost leak and loss of power. From day one this is a problem and HSP Diesel knows that it can be a big one with no notice. This is why our Hot Side tube routes directly into the intercooler, this results in lower temperatures, better airflow, and the added clearance in those tight places. The Hot side intercooler tube is made from a 3 Inch mandrel-bent tube that can be powder coated to spice up the engine bay.

Tell us about the Max Flow Bridge and Cold Side Tube that comes in the Intercooler Charge Pipe Bundle

The Max Flow Bridge inside the HSP Intercooler Charge Pipe Bundle is made from a precision casted piece of aluminum, it is then CNC Machined to make the maximum flow. Along with that we also increased the size over the factory part to a now 3 Inch diameter two-piece design. This allowed us to pressure test to over 100PSI and hold strong to prevent any boost leaks and because of the two-piece design, it installs even easier than others out there. The Cold side pipe is also made of a 3 Inch diameter tube. We mandrel-bent the tube to give the maximum flow of air and decrease the turbulence that is often seen inside these pipes. The mandrel-bent 3 Inch cold side tube complements the y-bridge for the ultimate efficiency, flow, and maximum performance capabilities of your truck.
