The GPCA Carabiner LITE is the entry point into the GPCA ecosystem — a solid, single-piece (unibody) carabiner machined from fine metal and engineered to be the most useful thing on your keychain. No loose parts, no play in the gate, no plastic anywhere.
Where most EDC carabiners are cheap stamped steel that flex and rattle, the LITE is CNC-machined from a single block of 420 stainless steel or TC4 Grade 5 titanium. The result is a tool that feels as good on day 1,000 as it did on day one. The screw-gate closure locks tight and stays tight — no accidental openings from bag pressure or daily carry.
What the LITE Carries
The Carabiner LITE comes equipped with the two tools that matter most in daily life: a box cutter and a bottle opener. The box cutter is mounted via a Torx T8 screw — removable in seconds, making the LITE TSA-compliant for carry-on travel once the blade module is packed in checked luggage. The bottle opener is always accessible, no disassembly required.
A Secret Capsule is built into the screw gate barrel — unscrew the knurled ring past the unlock point and a small hollow compartment appears. It fits a ferro rod, a rolled bill, a spare Torx bit, or an emergency pill. It's there when you need it, invisible when you don't.
Ecosystem Compatibility
The LITE uses the same outer dimensions as the PRO and PRO X KEY, so the Carabiner Key Module Addon retrofits it into a key organizer and the Red Ring Addon drops in for a color accent — no modifications needed. This cross-compatibility is the GPCA design principle at work: every product in the ecosystem speaks the same hardware language.
The LITE is also the most versatile clip in the line for attaching to other GPCA products: clip it to the GP-Grip PRO utility loop, the United-1 Wallet carabiner anchor, or the Dog Leash X-Clip mount for a fully connected EDC + vehicle carry system.
Load Rating & Safety
Static load rating: 200 lb (steel) or 200 lb (titanium). This is an EDC tool — not rated for climbing, rappelling, or fall arrest. Do not use for life-support applications.
