“All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade”. It may sound a little strange, but the title and beating heart of Icelandic indie-folk collective Of Monsters and Men’s fourth album hits a lot closer to home than you’d expect. A tapestry of stories, moments, and conversations, the album explores how love and pain intertwine. Feelings that might seem at odds with each other, but co-exist simultaneously and need one another. Tales both big and small — from the loneliness and longing of living in a block surrounded by strangers, to missed connections in a grocery store, to the lives and losses of a community of mice in a vacant house during winter.
Of Monsters and Men went from Reykjavík to the global stage with their breakout 2011 debut My Head Is An Animal, which propelled them from Icelandic indie darlings to international chart-toppers. The album’s breakout single “Little Talks,” a defining song for a generation, now boasts over 1 billion Spotify streams.
Amid their meteoric rise, the band released their sophomore album Beneath The Skin in 2015, which debuted in the Top 3 of the Billboard 200 and was accompanied by a surprise cameo on HBO’s huge hit series Game of Thrones. Their cinematic sound has popped up everywhere from The Hunger Games to The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, while their festival appearances — Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and more

Delicious!

Absolutely frickin delicious! The size is good for what you get. I use a bag 3 times for salads. Very easy to keep in the fridge and open and close. I think compared to jars and other olives and the quality it is a good price. The flavor is awesome!

Not comparable to the bars
Flavor Name: Chicken Sriracha, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I often get the chicken Sriracha bars, so I thought this is a more economical way to get that bit of protein. However, these are extremely different than the bars. They are thinner, obviously, and that makes the whole bar drier and... I'm not sure how to describe it, it almost tastes like plastic. Overall, I'll get the bars any day, but these I really can't stomach. On the spiciness side, I think they're pretty balanced. My husband, who doesn't tolerate heat well, likes them, so I'd say they're mild spice. But I personally cannot get over the plastic flavor.

For the chicken go with the bars, not the strips.
Flavor Name: Chicken Sriracha, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I really enjoyed the larger Sriracha bars, as they were an excellent combo of spicy, salty, and juicy. Bought these strips under the assumption they'd be the same. Not even close. No detectable salt, only the barest hint of spice (you can sort-of get the spice back if you eat a large chunk and chew it for around a minute), and the flavor when you first stick it in your mouth is dry and interrupted by a weird plastic-like taste for the first ten seconds or so.
Since it's food I can't return them. At $40 it's an expensive lesson learned. Go with the bars, not the strips.
