Own a piece of Japanese tea history with this vintage Matcha Tea Bowl (Chawan) of Tokoname ware. Hand-thrown approximately 30–40 years ago (Showa/Heisei era) by the celebrated master potter Toshiaki Yamashita II (born 1944).

The Potter: Toshiaki Yamashita is a renowned name in Tokoname ceramics, known for maintaining the integrity of traditional techniques while infusing modern sensibility.
Collector’s Set: This listing includes the original wooden storage box (Tomobako), which features the kiln name and official stamps—essential for long-term value and authentication. The signature of the potter is carved on the bottom.
