The KA-T from Kala is a Satin Tenor Mahogany Ukulele with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and a mahogany body and neck. It can be used by musicians and students in recording studios, live on stage, and more.
The KA-T measures 26-3/8" overall in body length. It has an upper bout of 6-3/4", a lower bout of 9", and a waist of 5-1/4". The white binding along the top and back accent the satin finish, and the NuBone XB nut and saddle delivers increased volume and sustained tone while adding clarity to each note. The built-in chrome die-cast tuners assure the instrument will stay in tune.
The KA-T's rosewood fingerboard has marks at the 5th, 7th, 10th, and 12th positions to help identify its 18 silver nickel fret positions. The instrument is set up with Aquila Nylgut strings.
