The Off-Road Plus Starter Bundle is built on the same rotating-chain system as our Road and standard Off-Road Bundles, but is engineered specifically for riders who face the harshest off-road conditions.

Designed for gravel, cyclocross, and mountain biking in consistently wet, muddy, and abrasive environments, this bundle is ideal for riders who regularly encounter thick mud, prolonged rain, deeply rutted trails, or long gravel rides measured in hundreds of kilometers.

In these conditions, drivetrain contamination and wear occur at roughly twice the rate of road or dry off-road riding.

The Off-Road Plus Bundle Includes:

• 4× professionally pre-waxed chains
• 1× bottle of Tru-Tension Tungsten All-Weather lubricant
• 3× microfiber cloths
• 1× 120ml spray bottle 
• 1X purpose-built 1 liter wide-mouth bottle with a raised bottom (to be filled with 500ml 99.9% isopropyl alcohol)
  

Because extreme off-road conditions accelerate wear significantly, chains in the Off-Road Plus system are rotated every two weeks.

You ride Chain 1 for two weeks, then switch to Chain 2 for the next two weeks. At the end of the month, both used chains are returned together using the pre-paid return label included with your subscription.

While Chains 1 and 2 are being professionally cleaned and re-waxed, you ride Chain 3 and then Chain 4 over the following month. Both returned chains are processed and shipped back within three weeks at the longest, by which point you are nearing the end of Chain 4 and ready to continue the rotation without interruption.

This system ensures that even under extreme contamination, each chain is fully reset before abrasive wear can accumulate.

Additional Items Required:

• 99.9% isopropyl alcohol (to fill up your 120ml spray bottle and 1l bottle half way) 
• Chain-link pliers (for safe quick-link removal and installation)
