The Travellers Cross © is a St James cross placed within the Scallop Shell symbol of El Camino de Santiago (one of the greatest journeys in the world).
Detail: The stainless-steel Travellers Cross pendant measures 59mm long including the hanging bail by 32mm wide. It hangs on a stainless-steel chain which is 60cm (23.5") long.

The 1,000-year-old journey to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Many carry with them a symbol of St James like this - believed to keep them safe.
