'Masterful research, impeccable detail, with a beautifully flowing narrative of which Churchill himself would have been proud.' - Professor Peter Caddick-AdamsFrom his earliest days Winston Churchill was an extreme risk taker and he carried this into adulthood. Today he is widely hailed as Britain’s greatest wartime leader and politician. Deep down though, he was foremost a warlord. Just like his ally Stalin, and his arch enemies Hitler and Mussolini, Churchill could not help himself and insisted on personally directing the strategic conduct of World War II. For better or worse he insisted on being political master and military commander. Again like his wartime contemporaries, he had a habit of not heeding the advice of his generals. The results of this were disasters in Norway, North Africa, Greece and Crete during 1940–41. His fruitless Dodecanese campaign in 1943 also ended in defeat. Churchill’s pig-headedness over supporting the Italian campaign in defiance of the Riviera landings culminated in him threatening to resign and bring down the British Government. Yet on occasions he got it just right: his refusal to surrender in 1940, the British miracle at Dunkirk and victory in the Battle of Britain, showed that he was a much-needed decisive leader. Nor did he shy away from difficult decisions, such as the destruction of the French Fleet to prevent it falling into German hands and his subsequent war against Vichy France. In this fascinating new book, acclaimed historian Anthony Tucker-Jones explores the record of Winston Churchill as a military commander, assessing how the military experiences of his formative years shaped him for the difficult military decisions he took in office. This book assesses his choices in the some of the most controversial and high-profile campaigns of World War II, and how in high office his decision making was both right and wrong.,

Like the dissolvable feature
Flavor Name: Peppermint
Cardiologist recommended one tablet nightly 30 minutes before bed to protect the lungs from covid. His other recommendations were standard protocol. Had never heard of this but know that melatonin is supposed to help with sleep. Had tried melatonin for sleep, at higher strength, but effect wore off after a week. Suprisingly, this seems to help with sleep as well. Large count at reasonable price.

Sleep aid that helpd.
Flavor Name: Peppermint
I purchased these because I understand that the natural production of melatonin decreases drastically after the age of 40. I have been using another brand that much more expensive for a lower dosage. I read the other reviews and decided to give these a try. I have been taking them for about 30 days. I think, I have a good understanding of the pills. It appears that the other brand had a more consistent effect. They sublingual and you would feel drowsy after about 20 minutes. These are slow desolve and take effect after 30 minutes or so. My only issue was consistency. I would say that 90% of the time I would be drowsy. Once or twice a month they would have a minimal effect. They are a stronger dose, 5 mg versus 3 mg of the other product. They are less expensive and they work most of the time.

Holy dreams Batman!
Flavor Name: Peppermint
This product is so good I had to come back to review it! I originally got this for my daughter since she has terrible insomnia, but she hated the minty taste...so I started taking them along with my husband and wow is all I have to say! It makes me tired and I’ve been having the craziest dreams (I usually never dream or remember them)! Definitely recommend and I actually really like the flavor.
