Champagne Magali Greffier Brut Nature NVMagali Greffier is a third generation vigneron located in the village of Congy in the Val du Petit Morin subregion of Champagne. Along with her brother and father, they farm 13. 5 hectares, only 2. 5 of which are in Congy, with the remainder in the Cte de Bar. Their vineyards are planted primarily to Pinot Noir (68%), with 19% of Meunier and 13% of Chardonnay. The family farms their vineyards without herbicides, focused on a more sustainable approach.

Magali Greffier is a third generation vigneron located in the village of Congy in the Val du Petit Morin subregion of Champagne. Along with her brother and father, they farm 13.5 hectares, only 2.5 of which are in Congy, with the remainder in the Côte de Bar. Their vineyards are planted primarily to Pinot Noir (68%), with 19% of Meunier and 13% of Chardonnay. The family farms their vineyards without herbicides, focused on a more sustainable approach.

The family presses its fruit at two different sites, one in Congy and one in the Aube. 60% of what they produce is sold to the négociant, keep the best grapes of the estate for themselves, and producing anywhere from 30,000 to 60,000 bottles per year.

This fantastic value is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Chardonnay. This non vintage blend includes 20% reserve wine, and is aged on its lees for 72 months before disgorgment. A Brut Nature, there is no sugar added at disgorgement. 

Although it is becoming increasingly rare, great values still exist in Champagne, and this is proof. Don’t miss it!
