Howea forsteriana came to the UK in the 1870s and, since then, has risen in popularity, becoming a regular, trendy feature in many home and office spaces across the country.

Thatch Palms are efficient air purifiers. This beneficial feature improves air quality by removing harmful pollutants surrounding the plant. It is also non-toxic, meaning both children and animals are kept safe. This must-have houseplant is hassle-free to care for. It prefers bright, indirect sunlight and regular misting. Only water when the soil is dry to touch and feed it with a liquid fertiliser once a month.
