Works OK.
Material Type: Powder Ox, Size: 16 oz
With a lot of work and diligence (elbow grease), the product works at removing oxidation. I expected it to easily remove the old Poliglow as well. Still lots of work. It will NOT remove the brown water stains from the roof of my molded fiberglass camper. Product is OK, but does not work as easily as advertised.

It's extremely difficult and when it hasn't been maintained it looks like skin peeling after a sun burn

Poli-glow definitely works. The negative feedback is generally due to someone trying to remove poli-glow. It's extremely difficult and when it hasn't been maintained it looks like skin peeling after a sun burn. I purchased a 41' sailboat with poli-glow. The poli glow was flaking off and had to be removed. It wasn't fun.
In the end, I bought poli-strip and used an orbital sander and wet sanded thru it. Then I used poli-strip, then poli-prep and washed it down. From there I used poli-ox and poli-prep one more time...I basically used poli-prep along with lots of water to wash boat down. The poli-ox when used thick, like a paste, ate through most stains once poli-glow was removed.
It took two-three days of prep. Application took half day per side. I used two kits. Also bought the rectangular special applicator (far better than their mitt). Make sure to have lots of disposable gloves. I don't think the chemicals will harm your hands much...I didn't have gloves for much of the prep work, but gloves are a must when applying poli-glow. Othnerwise your hand get very gunked up.

Very expensive but worked no better than powdered cleansers
Material Type: Powder Ox, Size: 16 oz
My camper is a 2004 with oxidized paint and dark streaks from being out in the weather. I looked at reviews and there is a lot of hype about this product so I ordered some. I used this on an area of my camper to test it in case it didn't work and guess what...it didn't. It didn't remove the oxidation and black streaking any better than Ajax powder. In one place, when I used it as directed, it wore the paint down to the bare metal and didn't remove dark streaking in the surrounding area. The area I tested it on looked cleaner, but no better than the area I used Ajax powder on the day before. Very expensive for what it didn't do. I do not recommend this product.

Works great
Be careful NOT to get it on painted surfaces it will remove the paint. It does exactly what they say it does and if you follow the directions to the letter you won't have any problems
