"Varietally expressive and beautifully fragrant, the wine shows blackcurrant, toasted almond, thyme and dark plum notes on the nose, followed by a supple palate offering ripe fruit intensity together with fine texture and polished tannins. Well balanced and harmonious with plenty of attractive flavours" Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Jan 2021

Dark red with a crimson hue. Aromas of blackberry, sage leaf, mint dried and cocoa. An elegant palate, flavours of plum, forest fruits and mocha, with some underlying savoury notes such as dry herb. Integrated oak characters compliment the fruit, the tannins are fine with good persistence.

The 2019 vintage provided some challenges with unexpected rainfall events during the harvest period. Regardless, the fruit slowly ripened to meet expectations of this truly unique and stunning region. Cabernet being a more robust variety showcased well, holding true varietal and regional characters, likened by some of the early Margaret River producers as 'what used to be' a typical/normal vintage in Margaret River

The fruit was machine harvested and transported to the winery where it was destemmed and crushed into fermenters. Once inoculated, the ferments were pumped over twice a day, temperature was held around 25°C to prevent over extraction of tannins locked in the skins. The wine was then transferred to oak for malolactic fermentation allowing a soft integration of the grape and oak tannins. After the correct amount of maturation, the wine was blended, fined then bottled.

Food Pairing: Beef carpaccio, lamb shanks and aged cheddar.

All around helpful---worth the money!
Format: Paperback
This guide has been most helpful for all the folks I help prepare for the iTEP test! It gives insight into what each section of the test is looking for along with examples and great tips about actually TAKING the test. In the Writing and Speaking sections, it also gives sample scores and comments from the Master Grader which is very helpful too.

Comprehensive, clear and coherent!
Format: Paperback
The iTEP Practice Guide combines a no-nonsense approach to the specific iTEP tests and at the same time offers exercises that task the student with what they need to know. Exercises not only serve the purpose of scoring well, but the overall approach is communicative competence. We use the text in our group and one-to-one classes with very positive--and lasting--results.

No recomiendo
Format: Paperback
