Released in 1999, it was the smallest recorder with the longest playback time available at the time.
It has a magnesium lid for strength and weight reduction.
It does not have MDLP functionality.
It weighs 105 grams without a battery or disc installed.
It has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio output.
