This unpeated American single malt whiskey was made from 100% malted barley and aged for 7 years in a new oak barrel. It has powerful, spicy oak notes on the nose. The palate has hints of clove, red pears, pomegranate, and rich oak. Big, dense, and powerful, yet with a surprising amount of sweetness, this is a true exemplar of a powerhouse American single malt aged in new oak. Near-hazmat, this powerful dram is a great crossover into American single malt for lovers of intense, powerful bourbons.
