How often do I need to replace the filter cartridges?
Under normal household conditions, all three filters (Stage 1, 2, and 3) should be replaced every 6 months. If you notice a sudden drop in water pressure, it may indicate that your filters have reached their capacity earlier due to heavy sediment.
Can I wash and reuse the filters?
The Stage 1 (5 Micron Sediment) filter is washable and reusable. You can rinse it to clear large dirt and rust particles. However, the Stage 2 sediment filter and Stage 3 carbon block filter must be replaced, not washed.
Which size whole house water filter do I need?
If you have a small home or townhouse, the 10" x 2.5" is ideal. For standard families under 5 people, the 10" x 4.5" offers great value. For large homes needing maximum flow (40+ LPM), the 20" x 4.5" is the best choice to prevent pressure drops.
