HISTORY ASPECTS:
The M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), commonly known as the Humvee, has been a crucial asset for the U.S. military since its introduction in the mid-1980s. The 1st Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment, part of the 3rd Combat Brigade, 1st Armored Division, utilized the M998 extensively during the Gulf War in February 1991. Known for its versatility and durability, the M998 played a vital role in Operation Desert Storm, providing mobility and support across the challenging desert terrain of Kuwait and Iraq.
During the Gulf War, the 1st Battalion, 37th Armored Regiment leveraged the M998 Humvee for various critical tasks, including troop transport, medical evacuation, and reconnaissance missions. The Humvee’s robust design, featuring a high ground clearance and four-wheel drive, allowed it to navigate the harsh desert environment effectively. Its ability to carry heavy loads and mount various weapon systems made it indispensable for the battalion's operations. The M998 was instrumental in the rapid maneuver warfare tactics employed by U.S. forces, contributing significantly to the coalition's swift victory in the conflict.
The M998’s performance during the Gulf War cemented its reputation as a reliable and versatile military vehicle. It demonstrated exceptional endurance and adaptability in combat situations, which led to its continued use in subsequent conflicts, including the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. The Humvee's design has evolved over the years to include improved armor and more advanced communication systems, but its core attributes of mobility, durability, and versatility remain unchanged.
This meticulously detailed 1:64 scale mode captures the essence of the Humvee's rugged design and combat-ready features, making it a perfect addition to any military enthusiast's collection. Whether you're a history buff or a model collector, this replica of the iconic M998 Humvee is a must-have, offering a tangible connection to the pivotal moments of Operation Desert Storm.

I do not know where my original review went so I’m reposting Includes: - Beauty and the Beast vibes, but with a Fae twist - Enemies to lovers - Slow burn - Forced proximity - Standalone HEA There are now two books I love that have opening sentences that reference bars of soap. @authorlisettemarshall ‘s books never disappoint me and this standalone is no exception. I absolutely love her writing style, the unique magic systems she uses, as well as her ability to convey such vivid details regarding things like clothing and places. It really helps someone like me (who isn't a good visualizer) immerse myself in the story. It also MUST be said that Lisette has really mastered the art of writing the slow burn for me. With fun characters and banter, she sprinkles in little breadcrumbs here and there that help with the romance build up and, baby, I'm hot on those breadcrumbs' trails just EATING them up. TLDR; Put this on your TBR.

Fun and steamy read
Format: Kindle
Fun read with some of my favorite things: enemy to lover trope, magic, badass FMC, some build-up/steam, and the occasional glimpse into the MMC’s POV.

so good
Format: Kindle
I’ve read any number of fairy tale retellings and I believe this one is top ten. The characters are likeable but complex enough to be interesting; the plot stands alone but leads you to the next book. The dialogue is also quite clever.

Nice standalone
Format: Kindle
3.5 stars. Reminds me of the old school romances of the 80s and 90s. Boy meets girl. They fight. They fall in love. Boy screws up. Girl flees. They kiss and make up. One thing that I absolutely adore about Loretta Marshall's worlds is just how inventive she is with the magic. Magic via flowers? How does her brain think of these things?

OUTSTANDING
Format: Kindle
This was very, very good. The world is vast and characters are complex. There is a good plot with a whole lot going on. This is well written. Good twists and turns and some heart breaking moments. You will love these characters, they have heart and loyalty. I am hoping that there will be several more books. We've yet to see anything from the Sea Court but only a mention of them here and there. The Wood Court was given a quick couple of scenes, and only as far as some warriors, we've yet to enter their court and the Shadow Court, I'm not sure if they will be a force for good or bad, but they definitely will play a much bigger role moving forward. This is primarily the Ice and Air Courts. Told in multiple views, which I loved, it gives you a chance to see things from different eyes. There's alot of political maneuvering and deception. I loved it and will pick up the next book as it becomes available. If you like The Fae and the courts, you should love this. I think the author has mucn in store for us.
