Marlborough has high sunshine hours, but temperatures during the growing season are regulated by the cooling ocean influence. In 2015, all Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this wine were harvested in early March.
The fruit for this wine was carefully selected from early ripening vineyard sites that express ripe flavours and ripe acidity at much lower sugar levels than standard wines. The fruit is gently handled in the winery to ensure bright aromatics, fresh ripe fruit flavours, without compromising the palate weight or wine texture and length.
